I was so excited to be involved in the 40 over 40 project I had talked for so long about doing a Boudoir shoot with Sharon from ShaBo STUDIO and because she was a close friend I felt completely comfortable with her.
Being on the other side of 50 and had recently finalised a divorce…. and hey I was feeling good in myself. At this stage in my life I wanted to be able to look back on some photographic memories that portrayed the strong, independent courageous women I was, you see I was just about to embark on a journey that would structure the rest of my life in business, life and relationships.
The shoot was both professional and powerful I was open to being guided into positions that showed my body in a strong form portraying exactly how I was feeling within.
This project is something I will look back on with absolute assurance it is a definite confidence booster and I would encourage fellow women to treat yourself and take the time to capture these milestones in your lives….. roll on my 60th I’ll be back to capture the next ten years stronger and fitter.
