As a photographer, I have always believed that every stage of life deserves to be celebrated and immortalised through stunning imagery. One of the most beautiful transitions I get to witness is the journey from pregnancy through to motherhood.
To add a unique touch to this experience, I offer a special service – the creation of a belly cast during your maternity session, which we can then beautifully incorporated your cast into your newborn session as a prop.
Belly casting is a unique way to capture the beauty of your pregnancy. Using a safe, non-toxic plaster, I create a detailed mold of your belly. This process is not only a fun and interactive experience, but it also allows mothers to embrace their changing bodies and celebrate the life that they are nurturing. Typically, clients book their maternity session and add on the belly casting which is done at the end of the maternity session (it gets a bit messy sometimes!). The session is filled with laughter, joy and a touch of creativity as we explore different poses and setups. If you opt to incorporate the cast in your booked newborn session, I have plenty of room at the studio to store the cast. This allows for the cast to dry properly and be perfectly ready to use as a prop for baby. After your newborn session you are free to take your cast home and personalise it as you wish, turning it into a work of art that reflects your personality and style.
